federal trade commission, or the ftc, fined 4 manufacturer of weight loss pills for falsely advertising their effects.
on the surface, this doesn't sound like much of a news. after all, who really thinks you can just lose weight by just taking a pill (besides those millions of people who buy these products and make these crooks millionaires).
but by reading the article, it gets interesting.

i'd recommend these wonderful diet pills for those of you lucky enough to want to gain weight.
